Engagement season is upon us and many Indianapolis couples have recently got engaged or will soon be engaged. This makes this one of the biggest times of the year for bridal shows. Below, we list the biggest and best wedding vendor fairs in the Indy metro area. Make sure to mark your calendars and check one or more of these out!
2nd Annual #Wedding Show
1 PM to 4 PM, January 5th, 2020. Cyrus Event Center, 237 N. East St, Indianapolis
This small, free show is put on by #Wedding Bridal Shows, and lets you meet local photographers, DJs, and caterers while also touring the fantastic Cyrus Event Center. You can pre-register for a chance to win prizes.
Indianapolis Monthly’s Free Winter Bridal Show
11AM to 3PM, January 12, 2020. Ritz Charles,12156 N. Meridian St., Carmel. Website
Meet up to 50 different wedding vendors at this bridal show in Carmel, from florists to other wedding venues in Indianapolis. Two giveaways are available to brides that register online at the website above.
PWG Winter Wedding Show 2020
12 PM to 4 PM, January 19, 2020. JW Marriott, 10 South West Street, Indianapolis.
The first of two PWG wedding shows this winter. In addition to many vendors open for business, they have educational seminars to help couples make the best decisions when planning their wedding. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.
Engaged Indiana January 2020 Wedding Show
12 PM to 4 PM (VIP hour 11AM to 12PM), January 26, 2020. Biltwell Event Center, 950 S White River Pkwy W Dr., Indianapolis
This is the first of two Engaged Indiana wedding shows this winter. Meet tons of vendors as well as win prizes, including gift certificates to participating services. Tickets are $10 ahead of time or $12 day of show, and VIP tickets are $25, which allows preferred seating at seminars and an hour early access to talk with vendors before the mad rush at noon.
Engaged Indiana February 2020 Wedding Show
12 PM to 4 PM (VIP Hour 11AM to 12 PM) February 23, 2020. Embassy Suites Noblesville, 13700 Conference Center Drive S Noblesville. Website
Engaged Indiana’s second winter show. Tickets are $10 in advance, and $12 day of the event, while VIP tickets are $25. A great option for those on the northside, this show is in Noblesville. Programming includes a seminar on personalizing your ceremony, a fashion show, and two shows focused on design and decor for your reception.
PWG March Wedding Show 2020
12 PM to 4 PM March 1, 2020. The Westin Indianapolis, 241 W. Washington Street, Indianapolis
PWG’s second wedding show of the year. Much like the first, you will get to meet dozens of vendors, taste catering samples, and win prizes. Tickets are $10 in advance, and $15 the day of the event.
Nameless Catering Tasting
6 PM to 8 PM, January 21, 2020. 1899, 164 Steeples Blvd, Indianapolis. Website
This free event isn’t exacting a bridal show, but Nameless Catering is a large and very popular catering company with amazing menus. A free meal of this caliber is definitely worth putting on your calendar, and exploring the 1899 venue is worth your time as well.
Planning your Bridal Show Visit
We highly recommend putting together a plan for your visit. Make sure you focus on the vendors you want to meet in person – we recommend photographers and your entertainment like DJs, bands, and photo booths – to ensure you’re going to enjoy working with these people on a hectic day. Show up as the show starts because four hours can be a surprisingly short time when you’re trying to meet 15 different vendors spread across a large ballroom.
That said, wedding shows are a ton of fun and we recommend going to them, if for no other reason than to gorge on wedding cake samples!
